September will bring the community of Fellows in Latin America and the Caribbean together at Foro 2014. The Second Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) Forum will activate a growing network of community leaders around the theme of "Integration and Transformation in Latin America and the Caribbean " during the first week of September 4-7, 2014. This Foro will held against the backdrop of both the Rainforest and the Panama Canal, highlighting the forces felt throughout the region, in local communities, and across the globe. Foro will build and formalize the LAC network by achieving the three "C"s: Conectar (Connect), Conocer (Get acquainted), Colaborar (Collaborate)."

The program includes Guest Speakers from the U.S. and Spain, as well as dignitaries from the Dominican Republic and Haiti who will all speak directly to the issues affecting these regions. Foro 2014 will explore this geography’s role in the shifting global economy, and how macro trends will impact future public policies in communities within those regions.
Participants will be provided with replicable, innovative and proven tools to make a difference in their communities. Moreover, Foro 2014 will help build strategic, collaborative relationships to bring about systemic change in communities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Foro 2014 will be a powerful charge that will ignite the LAC community of Kellogg Fellows.
