Martha LeeWelcome to KFLA’s next venture in communicating with you electronically.
No more snail-mail newsletter.

We’re excited to be sharing information with each other in a quicker more precise way allowing us to share opportunities for collaborations as soon as we hear of them.

The Year of the Horse brings great energy for collaboration and opportunities for new ventures. KFLA is ready.

To share a few examples: KFLA is working with Kellogg Fellow John Burkhardt (KNFP-10) who is the Director of the Center for Institutional Diversity – he is providing Fellows with opportunities to participate and help beta test several projects he is working on.

If you are interested in similar opportunities of involving Kellogg fellows in your projects, please let us know.

In collaboration with six other fellowship programs that have global alumnae, KFLA is co-designing a global women's summit for 2015 entitled “Sisters under the Same Sky.” If you have expertise in gender issues and want to be part of this summit and or work on the co-design of this event, please let me know.

In September, Foro 2014 (second annual Latin American & Caribbean Leadership Forum ) will take place in Panama. It has been well received and we have reached registration capacity for certain groups.

Through the commitment of Dr. Larraine Matusak, the Matusak Courageous Leadership Awards has become an international award and will be awarded at Foro 2014 in Panama. I encourage you to submit an individual who has exhibited Courageous Leadership.

The Kellogg Foundation has selected 120 fellows to be part of its new leadership program – the Community Leadership Network Fellowship Program. This new fellowship program starts May of this year under the direction of Kellogg fellow Esther Nieves (KNFP-16).

Please login at kfla.org and update your profiles as we move forward, we want to involve you in upcoming collaborations.
