Biography

Shannon is an emerging leader and program associate at the Foundation for the Mid-South. In this role she works within vulnerable communities to promote food access, healthy behaviors and mental health awareness. She believes that sustainable community change is built on authentic relationships and strives to embody this principle in her work. She has a strong vision for the future of Mississippi where children have access to quality education, women have access to reproductive health resources, families have pathways out of systemic poverty and the LGBT community has equal rights and protections in the state.
