Biography
Raul Mauro, Laspau, is currently working as an advisor for the AP-FA parlamentary group at the Peruvian Congress. His primary focus is the evaluation of several economic and social issues that needs to be addressed by the congressmen in their political discussions. He also works at the National Engineering University where he teaches research methods at the Economics School. A couple of years ago, he was working for World Learning as an M&E officer of a project funded by the US DOL. The main objective of the project was the eradication of child working in rural areas of Peru. The challenge was to observe the phenomena to be measured, design the instruments to gather the information, organize several survey teams, get the data on digital formats, and then produce good reports to support the interventions. He holds a master's degree in Political Science from Northeastern University thanks to a generous scholarship from Kellogg's Foundation.
