Biography
Perry Massey is currently Sr. Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, N.C. In this role, his specific duties center on all issues related to faculty. Perry holds a B.A. in Geography from North Carolina Central University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Geography from Clark University. As a faculty member, he has taught geography at Grambling State University, Virginia State University (VSU) and Fayetteville State University (FSU). In addition, he has served as an Academic Affairs Coordinator at the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at FSU, and Chair of the Department of History and Geography at VSU.
