Biography

Nancy M. Haegel is the Center Director of the Materials Science Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in CO. Before joining the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Nancy was a Professor of Physics at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Prior to this, she taught at UCLA and at Fairfield University. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Notre Dame and the Committee on the Status of Women in Physics for the American Physical Society. She served for seven years on the Science Advisory Committee of Research Corporation.
