Biography

Dr. Virginia Allery is an established leader in education and is very actively involved in all aspects of education on her home reservation, Turtle Mountain, in North Dakota. She received her doctorate in Education - Literarcy from the University of Minnesota and has worked in the corporate sector, public and private schools and, for the past sixteen years, she has worked in higher education in American Inidan Studies, Teacher Education and Cultural Studies.
