Biography
Kimberly is director of educational opportunities and managing attorney at the Mississippi Center for Justice in Sunflower County. As a former assistant district attorney, Kimberly used her discretion as a prosecutor to benefit the larger community, reviewing the facts of each case with the history and background of each defendant in mind. She worked to apply her power in a manner that best suited victims and defendants alike, keeping in mind the many alternatives to incarceration. In her current role, Kimberly is one of a handful of legal advocates with a focus on education law in the state. Her legal background and experience is an important tool in improving the lives of vulnerable children, allowing her to inform community members of their rights and providing free legal advice and assistance to protect the rights of children in the community.
