Biography

Cristina Montejo is a Professor and Researcher in the Intercultural Mayan University of Quintana Roo. She has extensive experience in the social development of rural communities. Within her daily activities, she promotes workshops focusing on conflict resolution, human rights, gender, social development, and sexuality. She also has social experience in indigenous communities of the states of Puebla, Veracruz, Yucatan, Quintana Roo and Oaxaca. Her medium-term objective is the implementation of a leadership project in community health for indigenous women.
