Biography

Profile • Physician with a post-graduate qualification in Maternal and Child Health (MCH). • Founder and currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Senior Technical Advisor of Compre Health Services, a private health consulting and service delivery company registered in Zimbabwe and based in Harare. • Current Chairman of the Hospital Management Board of Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals, the largest Hospital group in Zimbabwe. • Current member of the Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG) of the Governing Board of the Geneva-based Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. • Have worked in various senior-level leadership and management positions leading multinational, multicultural teams in both developed and developing countries. • Internationally Dr. Sikipa worked for the United Nations (UNAIDS) and several reputable health consulting companies including Family Health International (FHI), RTI International. Management Sciences for Health. • Served as a Principal Technical Advisor for HIV/AIDS at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in Arlington, Virginia and supervised and provided Technical Assistance to projects in several countries including Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Namibia, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe. • Served as Technical Director for the USAID-funded Reproductive Health/Family Planning (RH/FP) Extending Service Delivery (ESD) Project for two years. • At the UN he worked as UNAIDS Sub-regional Coordinator for Eastern and Southern Africa covering twenty-two countries in the sub-region. • For six years, he was employed by Family Health International as Regional Director for Africa for the USAID-funded AIDSCAP Project where he led a team of more than thirty regional staff members in Nairobi and supervised ten country teams. • Between 2004 and 2009 he served on the Technical Review Panel of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
