Biography
Dr. David Chae is an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Maryland School of Public Health. His previous appointment was as an assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Health Education at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Dr. Chaes research focuses on how racism, discrimination/prejudice and dimensions of racial/ethnic identity impact health through psychological and biological processes. He received his Doctor of Science degree from the Harvard School of Public Health.
