Biography

Maria Victoria Arboleda currently presides the Fundacion Arcadia in Cali, Colombia, a Non-profit organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty, violence and injustice in Colombia. Currently, Arcadia is implenting the program "Goals for Life" a violence-prevention strategy that uses football as a tool to promote peace and social cohesion. The objective of Goals for Life is to reduce violence-generating behavior in teenagers and youngsters ages 5-14, in the most poor and violent neighborhoods in Cali. Update Nov. 2012
