Biography

Kim has been an advocate for children and youth for over 15 years. She currently serves as the program manager for the middle schools initiative at the Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, an organization that develops, nurtures and sustains partnerships of residents, agencies and institutions in the Southeast quadrant of Washington, D.C. She has also served as the ministerial advisor for Childrens Ministry and as youth minister at Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ. These opportunities allow her to volunteer as a mentor and advisor empowering young people to improve their life outcomes.
