Biography

Monica belongs to the Tenek ethnic group. She holds a high school dregree but has an extensive experience in community work, mainly in indigenous rural areas of the Huasteca region of the State of San Luis Potosi. She has taught workshops about health, nutrition and community development in 3 locations of the municipality of Tanlajas (State of San Luis Potosi). Currently, Monica works as coordinator in Fondo para la Paz, supervising and training several community technicians of the State of San Luis Potosi.
