Biography

I have retired from teaching at MSU after 37 years here (plus 10 more years teaching before MSU). Now doing research and consulting, mostly around iron ore and steel, plus The Soo Locks. In 2018, we will have our last five kids all in high school. Two others just graduated this year and the oldest two are just a few blocks away. (Eight of the nine are adopted.) Life is good.
