Biography

Instruction and research in vegetable crops and potatoes for over 45 years, primarily at Washington State University, but also Iowa State University/USAID "Alliance for Progress " ag aid program in Uruguay, South America, Rockefeller aid program in Ecuador, Cornell University. Advised undergraduate and graduate students, Advisor to WSU Horticulture Club, Ag Ed students with an interest in horticulture. Consulted with growers, industry personnel, producers, marketers, etc in vegetable food production, storage, marketing, physiology, seed production, disorders, food safety, sales.
