Biography
Michele Barry, MD, FACP is the Director of the Center for Innovation in Global Health and the Senior Associate Dean for Global Health at Stanford University. She is Professor of Medicine and by courtesy in the Graduate School of Business and is one of the co-founders of the Yale/Stanford Johnson and Johnson Global Health Scholar Award program. Dr. Barry is past President of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) and an elected member of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the National Academy of Sciences since 2002. Dr. Barry currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Consortium of Universities involved in Global Health (CUGH) and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER).
