Biography

Dr. Ntho is a senior lecturer in Development studies, and her focus is on gender and development. Her publications and consultacy work are around, gender and transport, energy, elections, conflict, good governance and education services. Her community engagemnet work encompasses rural women empowerment and career guidance for high schools. She serves in different Boards as part of her community serves, these include Transformation Resource Center, Council on Higher Education, Basotho Ex-Miners Associaiton, and Morija Theological Seminary. Her aspiration is to establish a community leadership center in her rural home town where communities will be capacitated with leadership skills to determine their development destiny as well as being food secure. The center could also be used as a refferal for survivors of gender based violence.
