Biography

Phillip is an emerging leader and director of Anishnaabeg Child & Family Services for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. With a background in psychology, he has worked in mental health services to help tribe members overcome drug and alcohol addictions and has started a grassroots recovery program. His talents include developing rapport with people quickly, redirecting hostile temperaments and instilling hope through encouragement. He is passionate about helping the Anishnaabeg people overcome historical trauma, addictions and child abuse to truly live in an autonomous way.
