Biography

LaDonya is a research and evaluation consultant for Concordia, LLC. She is also the instructor for a Lego robotics class, part of the CP3 Afterschool Zone implemented by the Partnership for Youth Development. As an emerging leader, she has vast community engagement and community-based research experience in the fields of public health and education. She has worked for nearly a decade to improve the quality of life for children, youth and their families by advancing community health through programming, health interventions and community-based participatory research. She has conducted research and education around issues including pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS and cardiovascular disease. LaDonya was born and raised in New Orleans, and is committed to the City of New Orleans being a great place for children, youth and families to live, grow and thrive.
