Biography

Shelia is the Family Protection Training Director with Mississippi Department of Human Services Family and Children Services. She is a licensed master's social worker with more than two decades of experience working with families from birth to older adulthood. Her career has afforded her opportunities to serve in many different capacities, advocating for those who are vulnerable due to age, lack of education, race, abuse and neglect and socio-economic status. She brings a genuine joy and passion for children to the cohort through her work to assist those who are victims of abuse.
