Biography

Victor is an experienced leader who has maintained his learner mindset as executive director of Esperanza, an organization dedicated to improving academic achievement among Latino students in the greater Cleveland area. Victor is passionate about social justice and equitable access to education and believes strongly in education reform that will lead to higher graduation rates for Latino students. He is a self-proclaimed “student of data” who values the role of research and numbers in driving both analysis and solutions, but also taps into his broad network to gather stories from seldom-heard voices impacted by local education issues.
