Biography

Jose Juan belongs to the Wixarika (Huichol) ethnic. He holds a degree in Secondary Education. Jose Juan is president of the Union of Indigenous Students for Mexico. Also, he developed and lead a radio program focused on the promotion of the Wixarika culture. In the same way, he is community instructor in several municipalities of Nayarit. His medium-term objective is to develop a reforestation project with students in the Huichol area.
