Biography

María Fernanda Leyva was born in Merida, State of Yucatan; Maria Fernanda studies psychology in the Marista University at Merida. She has participated in several conferences about analysis and design of education workshops for the National Council for Educational Development. Her areas of interest are educational psychology as a tool for welfare and development and equality policies for people with disabilities. Maria Fernanda has led the group of volunteers in the “Club of Friends TELETON”, worked as a volunteer teacher in the program “Building Bridges”, a program that promotes the inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities in social spaces.
