Biography

Paul Taylor, a corn grower near Esmond, Ill., serves on the Corn Board of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA), a farmer-led trade association with offices in St. Louis and Washington. Taylor and his wife, Barbra, continue a farming tradition on land that has been in his family for nearly 100 years. There, he raises corn, seed corn, food-grade non-GMO soybeans and canning vegetables for Del Monte, including sweet corn, lima beans and green peas. While he no longer raises livestock personally, he continues to value that component of our agricultural system. Taylor is on the NCGA's Association Relations Committee and the Bylaws Committee and previously vice-chaired its Ethanol Committee. He is the a former president of both the Illinois Corn Growers Association and the Wisconsin Soybean Association.
