Biography

Thomas Spaulding is executive director and a co-founder of Angelic Organics Learning Center, a non-profit educational organization (501c3) with a farm center in Caledonia, IL and an urban office in Chicago. Angelic Organics Learning Center builds sustainable local food and farm systems through educational, creative and experiential programs offered in partnership with Angelic Organics Farm, a vibrant Biodynamic community supported farm. The center focuses on food literacy, food access, and food production -- offering farmer training for sustainable agriculture, urban agriculture/community food security, and agro-ecology education programs. The Learning Center facilitates education and training programs for more than 5,000 people each season. Since 2013, Thomas Spaulding also serves as President of Angelic Organics Association, a community land trust that serves as the umbrella association for for-profit and non-profit enterprises at Angelic Organics and protects nearly 200 acres in perpetuity for organic/Biodynamic agriculture, farming education and land conservation.
