Biography

Gail Povar, M.D. joined Cameron Medical Group in 1994. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of Vermont College of Medicine, she completed her primary care internal medicine residency at George Washington University. Dr. Povar, who has a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan, served for 14 years on the full-time faculty of the George Washington University School of Medicine. She continues to write and lecture about medical ethics and health policy. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Povar has a special interest in preventive health care for adolescents and adults.
