Biography

Jorene Jameson, Ph.D. is currently an adjunct faculty member at Florida Atlantic University where she teaches courses for the School of Public Administration. She was previously President & CEO of the Broward Education Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Dr. Jameson served as Chief Development Officer for the YMCA of South Palm Beach County in Boca Raton, FL. She also held positions with North Texas Public Broadcasting (KERA) in Dallas, TX and the Girl Scouts of Tejas Council, also in Dallas. Dr.. Jameson earned a Bachelor of Arts from East Stroudsburg State University and a Master of Governmental Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2017, she completed a Ph.D. degree in public administration at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). She holds a certificate as a Senior Director from YMCA of the USA and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
