Biography

Dr. Elon received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed her residency in internal medicine from Baylor University affiliated hospitals. She also completed her fellowship in geriatrics from the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Elon is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society, the American Medical Directors Association, and a founding Board Member of the Maryland Medical Directors Association. She has served as a consultant for the United States Justice Department in matters regarding quality of health care services for chronically institutionalized elderly living in state institutions. Dr. Elon is a part-time voluntary faculty member at the Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland Schools of Medicine. She has served as Chief Medical Officer for FutureCare Health and Management Corporation since 2011.
