Biography

Dr. Doblin received his medical degree and a master's degree in public health at Northwestern University. He completed a two-year research program at the University of California at Los Angeles under a Robert Wood Johnson clinical scholarship before returning to Chicago for a one-year fellowship in medical ethics at the University of Chicago. After working in private practice for several years, Dr. Doblin was associate medical residency director at the University of Chicago Weiss Hospital before becoming medical director at Seasons Hospice. He serves on the medical care committee of the Anixter Center, an organization that provides medical care to persons with disabilities. He is on the boards of the American Jewish Committee and the Chicago End-of-Life Care Coalition, and is co-president of the Peace Museum.
