Biography

Shirley L Baugher, KNFP 8, is currently enjoying teaching with Walden University and working with coaching clients. Prior to these roles, she was President and CEO of a nonprofit supporting faculty development in higher education. She has also worked in higher education institutions (Bowling Green State University, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and The University of Missouri - Columbia). Most recently she served as the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Bowling Green State University. She began her career in public education in Missouri and Texas following completion of Degrees at Truman University in Missouri and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Shirley has published in the areas of rural development, diversity and leadership as well as poetry. She live in Minnesota with her husband, Enrique, and two four legged children, Boo and Sasha. Sasha is a rescue Lab and Boo is a German Shepherd. All bring smiles to her heart on a daily basis!
