Biography

As a Veterans Representative for Three Wire Systems' VA for Vets program, Crystal Smithmyer acts as the first point of contact for Service Members seeking the company's support services. Services include one-on-one coaching to veterans who are seeking federal employment, or to [veteran] VA employees who are looking for career advancement and career coaches who assist in resume writing, job searching, and interviewing techniques and deployment. There are also reintegration coaches who assist Reserve or National Guard members in making smooth transitions during the deployment cycle. Prior to this position, Mrs. Smithmyer served 9 years as Outreach Specialist, AgrAbility for Pennsylvanians, with Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania. In this role, she provided education to and created awareness within the agricultural and healthcare communities regarding available services for farmers with a disability.
