Biography

Ph.D. in History; specialties in U.S. and English history, especially women's and social history, Recent U.S. history. Have worked as legislative liaison and analyst for Congresswomen's Caucus, U.S. Congress, and as Women's Issues Officer, House of Commons, U. K. Parliament. Most current research focuses on women as agents of social change, especially the religious roots of women's agency.
