Biography

I am retired, an emeritus professor from Cornell University. Still an active scholar. My wife, Jan Jennings, and I published our last book on American vernacular architecture in 2009. Published Landscape and American View Books and Guides, A Visual History of Touring and Travel in 2012, paperback due out in September 2014. Writing poetry and have book manuscript out for review and a two-act play under review at two theaters. Still row, coach rowing a little, working on improving throwing the discuss, shot put and hammer. Still have not found a volunteer situation. Willing to work on real social, environmental problems with other Fellows.
