dbaileyDarlyne Bailey (KNFP-13)  ​is the Dean and Professor of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College, where she also serves as Special Assistant to the President for Community Partnerships. She has published three books, including Sustaining Our Spirits: Women Leaders Thriving for Today and Tomorrow. She brings to KFLA’s board her expertise in the areas of leadership, organizational and community transformation, and the formation and sustainability of strategic alliances.

 

rfosterRick Foster​ (KNFP-08) is a tenured professor who joined the faculty of Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in January of 2010, after 15 years as the Vice President of Programs at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan. Dr. Foster provides leadership for FoodPLUSDetroit, the Global Innoversity Project, and an economic development initiative linking resources in Canada, Ohio and Michigan to promote 21 Century sustainable economic development. He brings to KFLA’s board, his expertise in the areas of advocacy, community development and leadership.

 

Miguel A. Guajardo​ is an Associate Professor in the Education and Community Leadership Program and a member of the doctoral faculty in School Improvement at Texas State University­ San Marcos. Guajardo is the co­founder and chairman of the board of directors of the Llano Grande Center for Research and Development, an education and community youth development organization in South Texas; and, is the co­founder of the Community Learning Exchange, an emerging interdisciplinary community of practice that connects the wisdom of people and the power of place to advocate and work towards community change. He brings to KFLA’s board his expertise in the areas of community building, leadership development, race, ethnicity and equality.

 

rnjaiRashid Njai​ (Health Fellows & Scholars) is an Officer in the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and Epidemiologist in the Division of Community Health, Research Surveillance and Evaluation branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. University. His work broadly focuses on the epidemiology of mental/physical health disparities among racial and ethnic minorities as well as other vulnerable populations. He brings to KFLA’s board, his expertise in the areas of public health and safety, youth development and racial equity.

 

dsussDave Suss ​is the Director of Operations at the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation (Leadership Foundation). Prior to joining the Leadership Foundation in April 2012, Suss served as the Director of Programs and Technology at the Kellogg Fellows Leadership Alliance. He brings to KFLA’s board, his expertise in the areas of project management, financial management and budgeting; information technology needs and utilization, database management and program systems support.
