Biography

A highly accomplished and resourceful Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with extensive national and international experience at technical field and leadership level gained predominantly in the development and humanitarian sectors. A visionary strategist, committed to strong stakeholder relationships ,is adept at managing and shaping operations and leading global development programmes that realize corporate values and goals. Articulate, engaging and a hands-on leader has proven success of building and energizing teams applying discipline and processes that inspire outstanding performance. Currently the CEO of the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), the Principal National Institution for Disaster Risk Management mandated to prevent and substantially reduce the impact of disasters by promoting an integrated and coordinated system of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) focused on decreasing vulnerability, increasing preparedness and mitigation capacity. A holder of an Mphil in Sustainable Development, Mr. Russell Dlamini has worked for World Vision International in Swaziland and Rwanda as a Director. He owns a consultancy company and volunteers his time and skill to develop transformative strategic plans for humanitarian and non-profit organizations.
