Ms. Malehlohonolo Hape Moshabesha

Malehlohonolo (Hloni) Moshabesha is currently the Project Manager at Sesotho Media and Development. Prior to this, she was a consultant for Lesotho Environmental Planning and Conservation Consultants (LEPCC). She also worked as the Admin Officer at Theewaterskloof Municipality in the Western Cape. She also worked for Nande Communications as the Project Manager responsible for the day-to-day running of the company. Grants Specialist for Africa Programs with the W.K Kellogg Foundation based in Pretoria, South Africa. In this capacity, she worked as a trainer for the entire WKKF office in Africa on the systems and program work. She also worked in support and collaboration with senior program staff in carrying out the strategic programming functions of the Foundation. With a focus on helping to coordinate the theme of education and leadership in the region, country responsibilities include Swaziland and South Africa, where she is acted as a resource in the compilation, organization, utilization, and communication of information and knowledge. She also, served as an internal and external liaison/coordinator with ongoing programming efforts, as well as provided technical support to grantees and colleagues in a variety of programming efforts. Malehlohonolo is an excellent trainer, facilitator and presenter. She has also invested more time in area of Rural Community development, with more concentration in Early Childhood Development, and Women & Youth Development. Her work experience ranges over managing programs and projects in the public and civil society sectors at national, regional SADC and international levels. This includes promoting capacity, policy and legislative development; monitoring and evaluation of development projects/programs; developing community economic opportunities; and engaging in advocacy. She has strong knowledge of development issues, strategies, rights-based approaches, and programming policies and procedures in local and international development. Malehlohonolo also has the ability to communicate concepts and ideas effectively, orally and in writing; to work in a team or independently as required; and adopting consultative approaches. In past workshops she has been consistently highly rated on mastery of her subject and her ability to entertain and motivate the participants. She has trained people on the Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Customer Care, and many other. She has facilitated HIV/AIDS workshops, as well as African Leadership workshops. Prior to joining Kellogg, Malehlohonolo was the Office Administrator with CIDA Empowerment Fund. She joined CIDA Fund at a very foundation level and she was responsible to ensuring that the fund grows. With her academic experience in Business Administration she was able to contribute a lot in building the organization. Her most substantive academic work has been in the areas of business administration and transformation management. Malehlohonolo studied Supply Chain Management, the course that was incorporated in Production & Operations Management (In her Diploma in Business Management) and Business Management (In her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration) Malehlohonolo earned her Master’s degree in Transformation Management at the University of Buckingham (UK), a Bachelor of Business Administration from CIDA City Campus, a Diploma in Business Management from University of Lesotho, as well as well a Certificate in Business Studies from University of Lesotho.
