Robert is an established leader from northern New Mexico. His work has addressed environmental stewardship and remediation, economic development and local, state, tribal and federal initiatives. Robert operates his own business and strives to share strategic approaches to improving policy outcomes that will directly impact New Mexico communities. Robert was appointed by the Obama Administration to be the “Assistant Chief of the West,” which involved working across 13 states with the United States Department of Agriculture to develop agricultural initiatives. Robert also helped to establish the New Mexico Colonias Initiative, which set aside funds to address infrastructure issues for communities in the state’s border region.
