Biography

Chandler is the executive director of Community Works of Louisiana, a nonprofit organization focused on providing enrichment-based after school programs for underserved, at-risk youth in Louisiana. He is an emerging leader, dedicated to building a community of healthy and creative learners through programs that integrate arts, recreation and educational support. His work is defined by a commitment to help eliminate the achievement gap by offering underserved students the opportunity to engage in academic and social enrichment activities Chandler is deeply committed to building partnerships within the community, working with the local charter school system and organizations like Second Harvest, Acadiana and the Junior League of New Orleans.
