Biography

Lloyd is founder and executive director of Silverback Society, a nonprofit that provides adult mentors to boys of color in elementary schools. Lloyd is committed to the positive development of young boys and youth of color through mentorship, academic support and civic participation. His work is helping young men change their mindsets and become leaders in their schools, communities and families. Lloyd is dedicated to the process of bringing as many people as possible, particularly men of color, to the realization that they, individually and collectively, are the solution.
