Biography
Kenisha is a master’s level social worker who serves as an Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) coordinator with a focus on improving access to health care in Mississippi. In this role, she develops strategies and techniques to assure that children who are recipients of Mississippi Medicaid insurance are provided with the best health care possible. Kenisha works closely with families to ensure that children have access to preventive services and routine healthcare, while educating parents on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. She has spent her career advocating for children through foster care systems, healthcare systems and policy development.
