Biography

Michael Rodriguez is the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer with Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle where he oversees Cook Counties Veterans Affairs, Adoption and Child Custody, and Animal Control Departments. Mike currently serves on the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission as appointed by Governor Pat Quinn and serves on the Board of the Juvenile Justice Institute and the Advisory Board of Second Federal- Self Help Credit Union and is a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network, National Fellow. Mike is the former Executive Director of Enlace Chicago. Enlace is a charitable organization with an annual budget of $5 million and a staff of 200 that works on Community Development, Education and Violence Prevention. He is a lifelong resident of Little Village and is a candidate for 22nd Ward Democratic Committeeman.
