Biography

Beatriz Alvarado holds a degree in Language and Culture, with specialization in the learning and teaching of Maya and English language. Currently, she holds the space Kanantaba GOJoven, an informative space based on sexual and reproductive health issues, mainly focused on teenagers and sponsored by “International Health Programs” of United States of America. Beatriz works to develop a project which can provide training on sexual and reproductive health in children and adolescents, mostly Mayan-speaking community.
