Biography

Esther Noemi Tuz is the only woman being trained in the topic of Ecological Agriculture in her community: Mani, State of Yucatan. Her area of specialization is environmental education and the dissemination and cultural preservation. She participated in the regional workshop of the Earth Charter Initiative. Her medium-term projects are promotion of Mayan language in a bilingual community radio, as well as the promotion of community tourism through an ecological reserve.
