Biography

Pedro de Paz was born in Arriaga, State of Chiapas, Pedro holds a law degree at the Pacific University of the State of Chiapas. Currently, he works at the Secretary of Sustainable Development and Ecology of Chiapas. He was the director of planning and rural development in the Autonomous Indigenous and Peasant Organizations. His main responsibilities are: to provide information about new techniques for the development of agriculture in the State of Chiapas, to provide information about the conservation of the environment, and to develop alternative and sustainable methods for the sowing time. His areas of interest are: agriculture, property rights, social development, and commerce. Actualmente ocupo la Secretaria de Desarrollo Sustentable y Ecología dentro del Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) en el Estado de Chiapas; colaboro en la Fundación CIOAC Chiapas A.C. estudie la Licenciatura en Derecho y la maestría en Derecho Civil; fui voluntario en el programa de Compassion Mexico, ME-801 durante 5 años en la cd de Arriaga, Chiapas.
