Biography

Dr. Martínez is an Assistant Professor in the School of Transborder Studies at Arizona State University. She recently completed the W.K. Kellogg Health Scholars Program at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she learned how to conduct community-based participatory research. In 2010, she received her PhD in Sociology from the University of California-San Francisco.
