Biography

Dean of Union Institute & University's Sacramento Academic Center for seven years, Dr. James Rocheleau began his career as a Russian translator in Berlin, Germany, when the Berlin wall was built in 1961. He was a professor of Russian, European, and Asian history for five years before he became dean of continuing education at Buena Vista University in Iowa. He has also served as the president of Upper Iowa University and as an advisor to the Kellogg National Fellowship.
