Biography

Margaret O'Bryon is Founder of the Accelerating Change Group (ACG), an enterprise committed to transforming the way individuals, communities, and institutions think and innovate as they address big and complex issues. Prior to this, Margaret served for 14 years as President and CEO of the Consumer Health Foundation. Margaret has worked for Prince Charitable Trusts, served as the Associate Director of the Institute for Urban Development Research at the George Washington University, and her early professional career was spent working for the U.S. House of Representatives. She currently serves in leadership capacities in a number of organizations, including the national advisory committee of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leaders Program; the Nonprofit Roundtable; Children’s National Advocacy & Public Policy, Inc, (Children’s National Medical Center); and the National Hispanic Council on Aging. Margaret has degrees from Hamilton/Kirkland College (BA) and George Washington University (Masters in Urban and Regional Planning). In her spare time, Margaret is an independent film buff, a lifelong pianist, and an avid tennis player.
