Biography

In May 2012, Karen Gutierrez became Director of the Global Smoke-free Worksite Challenge. The Global Smoke-Free Worksite Challenge is a global, multi-sector initiative for employers to make their worksites smoke-free or completely tobacco-free. Gutierrez is also a social marketing consultant whose partners and clients have included the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, World Bank, U.S. Office on National Drug Control Policy, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, World Lung Foundation and Harvard University School of Public Health.
