Biography

Professor Emeritus Department of Family Medicine and Community Health University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Interests in community based research, professionalism, medical journalism and publishing ethics, use of technology in patient care and education. Have moved into consulting with academic leadership around executive coaching and faculty development. Working with mid-career and new faculty around personal and professional development. Moved to Santa Fe in 2014 and working on literacy and improving care by expanding the ACA. Married to Cathy since 1998 who is a public health trained and works with Family and Community Foundations in New Mexico, two children and 6 grand kids. We have Midwestern roots but Southwestern mentalities.
